I was supposed to take shots of the lunar eclipse but I did not have a 600mm lens with me...

and what I got was an almost full eclipse that looked like a small, ripe orange.

So I looked down on terra firma, instead. And took available-light shots of a marble stairway...

...a hesitant fountain that seemed wishy-washy about spouting water...
|
...to a deluded sidewalk that believes it's a fountain...
|
...and a dog that believes it's a fountain as well...oh well.

At least this boy knows what a faucet is for! :o)

...and me? I gazed back at the moon.
...errr, a small ripe orange floating in space, I mean. :P
